FARMERS' MARKETS

The Hall is regularly used for a Farmers' Market on the second Saturday of every month. With the changing pattern of rural life, may farmers are looking for new ways of using their resources. They can, for example, offer to the public their fresh, quality meats and vegetables, which have not passed through the processing and delayed distribution of the super-markets. They may also offer their produce freshly cooked : meats in delicious pies; fruit in crumbles or jams. Those with woods may use their skills to produce garden furniture or even sculpture. Others, with gardening skills may offer potted plants.

Kingsway Hall is ideal for such markets. It has as much space as many open market sites - and unlike them, it is protected from English weather,

Markets are open from 9a.m to 1 p.m - the popular time for food shopping, and, from its inception, the market has become a popular venue.

We invite you to visit us to view the tempting produce, or perhaps consider setting up a stall of your own?
