ART EXHIBITIONS Dovercourt Art Club celebrate the 40th year of our Annual Exhibition. From those early days when friends who enjoyed painting met to further their pastime, the Club has seen some ups and downs, however, the seed had been sown and the harvest has been plentiful. One has seen artists steadily develop their own styles; like all artists reaching to achieve that elusive perfect painting. Geographically we are blessed with both landscape and seascape - an artist's paradise - with moods and atmospherics that change by the minute. To paint them is another matter, easier said than done. Membership stands at 86 and we meet here for our Tue'sday meetings, which are usually working evenings from a given programme.
